Because every Maxwell Rich examination is recorded end to end, a contested result isn't a matter of one examiner's word. Any candidate can ask for an independent re-review of the evidence by a different senior examiner. Here's exactly how that works.
Any candidate who has received a result can ask for a review. An appeal has to rest on a specific concern about how the exam was run or judged, not on the exam feeling too hard. Valid grounds include:
We generally cannot review on these grounds:
Email team@maxwellrich.com within 10 business days of receiving your result, with your registry ID, the examination date, and the grounds for your appeal.
We confirm receipt within 3 business days and check that your appeal states a valid ground. If it doesn't, we'll tell you why and what, if anything, can be done instead.
A different senior examiner, with no part in your original session and no conflict of interest, re-assesses the complete recorded evidence (room video and, for digital work, the screen capture) against the same examination brief. The original examiner takes no part in the decision.
Within 15 business days of an eligible appeal, we send a written decision explaining the outcome and the reasoning.
The re-review confirms the original assessment. Your result and the reasoning stand.
The record shows the original assessment was wrong. We correct the result, either issuing the credential and registry ID or revoking one issued in error, and refund the appeal fee.
Where a technical or procedural failure means the evidence can't fairly be judged, we offer a fresh sitting at no charge.
If you believe the review itself was handled improperly, you may escalate once, in writing, within 10 business days of the decision. An escalated appeal is referred to a review panel of senior examiners who were not involved at any earlier stage. The panel's decision is the final internal step. This process governs the accuracy and conduct of assessments; it does not waive any right you may have under applicable law.
